Stephanie Deere has been a professional dance performer, choreographer, and educator for over ten years. With a B.A. in dance from the University of California, Irvine, and extensive experience working in Los Angeles and New York City, Stephanie has in-depth knowledge of many dance forms: including jazz, musical theater, hip hop, contemporary and more.
Stephanie has been showing her own work in NYC for over six years in venues such as Green Space, the Gelsey Kirkland Theater, Triskelion, and more. She has directed her own dance company, MachineHDance, now entering it's seventh season through a variety of festivals, evening length works, and outreach programs here in NYC and Panama. Producing has become one of Stephanie's strong suits and in addition to her own company productions, she produces festivals which provide performance opportunities to an array of dance artists living and working in NYC.
Stephanie recently obtained her M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education which supports the many educational programs she directs and teaches for. She is the director of the Early Childhood Program and Dance Team as well as Staff Manager/Recital Director at Breaking Ground Dance Center in Westchester, NY. Stephanie is extremely fortunate to live a life in which her love of art and education are so seamlessly blended.

A graduate of the University of California, Stephanie has over a decade of experience teaching dance to a wide range of student dancers. From toddlers to experienced professionals, Stephanie has worked in a variety of areas of dance including contemporary, modern, jazz, ballet, tap, and hip hop.
